Winter Pics from Beynac – Dordogne, France

On a sparkling sunny day it doesn’t get more quaint than Beynac. One of France’s most beautiful villages, the town spills down the hill side from the castle above to the river below. A charming place to wander the streets and take in the medieval atmosphere.

The 12th century Chateau de Beynac (open in February) has stunning views of the river valley below and is a fun spin through a medieval castle with a rare example of a traditional kitchen.

  1. I am envious! What a breath-taking view. You must be very busy clicking away with your camera to capture this picturesque village. As always, looking forward to pictures of your next trip!
