The Fes Medina, Morocco

Written April 6, 2013

The windy narrow lanes of the Fes Medina live up to their reputation, both in terms of difficulty in finding your way and the interesting discoveries to be made. The main market streets are jam packed with both tourists and locals, while the side residential streets are far quieter. However, trying to negotiate the side streets to get anywhere without a good guide is next to impossible. We did have some luck with the GPS application on the Ipad.
