Northern Italy

Trip Overview

This was an 18 day trip through Northern Italy in June/July of 2015, beginning when I met Don in Genoa after a two month study trip in Montpellier, France. We  took the train south to the quintessential coastal villages of Cinque Terre, followed by a short stay in Milan where we picked up a rental car and drove onward to Varenna on Lake Como. After three days on the lake we drove to the Dolomites where we spent the next week day hiking, using Ortisei and then Cortina as bases. The trip ended with a romantic stay in Venice. If you have any questions, leave a comment and I’ll be happy to answer.
